Look Deeper. Live Healthier.
Physician-led, whole-person care for adults who want more time, deeper insight, and a personalized strategy to prevent and improve chronic disease.

Why I Created This Practice & How it Works
After years of practicing primary care, I saw the same challenge again and again: patients wanted a deeper understanding of their health, but the traditional healthcare model often did not allow enough time to provide it.
Chronic conditions like prediabetes, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, fatty liver disease, and kidney disease rarely have a single cause. Improving these conditions takes more than reviewing labs and adjusting medications—it requires time to understand the whole picture, create a personalized plan, and follow up regularly to monitor progress and make adjustments along the way.
That level of ongoing, individualized care is difficult to provide in a traditional primary care model with large patient panels and many competing demands.
I created this practice to provide the care I always wanted to offer my patients: thoughtful, personalized, and focused on helping people make meaningful improvements in their health over time.
My goal is to complement your primary care—not replace it—by providing the additional time, attention, and expertise needed to go deeper.

About Dr. Jennifer Chung, MD | Functional and Lifestyle Medicine
Hello! I’m Dr. Jennifer Chung, a board-certified internist and former primary care physician with over a decade of clinical experience. Now, I specialize in functional and lifestyle medicine and help adult men and women address chronic health concerns through a personalized, root-cause–focused approach.
My passion is empowering patients with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to take charge of their health. I’m especially passionate about early detection and prevention—because preventing disease is far more powerful than treating it after the fact.
I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a young age and pursued rigorous medical training to become the best physician I could be—completing my undergraduate and medical education at the University of Virginia, internal medicine residency at Duke University Hospital, and geriatric fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. It wasn’t until I discovered functional and lifestyle medicine, however, that I finally found a way to help patients go beyond disease management and create real, lasting health.

More than a quick visit or generic advice—physician-led, personalized care to help you improve your health.

My Whole Health Approach
Chronic disease is rarely shaped by a single factor. Genetics matter—but so do nutrition, sleep, physical activity, stress, environment, and other aspects of daily life.
My approach combines the best of conventional internal medicine with evidence-based functional and lifestyle medicine to understand the whole picture of your health. Together, we’ll create a personalized strategy that addresses the factors contributing to chronic disease and supports meaningful, lasting improvement.
I work with you as a partner in your health, supporting you alongside your primary care physician and healthcare team. My goal is to help you make meaningful, lasting improvements in your health through a personalized, whole-person approach.
